Today we were told to choose if we want to work in a group or as an individual for our maths lesson, so me and my two friends decided that we want to work as a group. This is our work.

Problem 1:

One can of cat food will feed snowball the car for 3 days. How many cans are needed to feed snowball for:

  1. 24 days?

  2. 51 days?

Answers:

  1. 24÷3=8

  2. 51÷3=17

Problem 2 :

Timotes’s mp3 player is on repeat. It plays the song he loves 3 times in 12 minutes. How long would it take to play the song 9 times?

Answer:

36 times

Problem 3:

Mrs Sharma’s car uses 11 litres of petrol for every 130 km. How much is needed to travel 390km to visit the students at camp?

Answer:

33 Litres

Problem 4:

Dane found this recipe for chilli con carne. He has 525g of mince.

Chilli con carne (2 people)

Ingredients

  • 175 g Mince

  • 1 bay leaf

  • 50 g tomatoes

  • ½ an onion

  • ½ tsp chilli powder

  • 120 g red kidney beans

  1. How much of the ingredients will he need so that he can use all of the mince?

  1. How many people can he feed?

Answers:

  1. Times every ingredient by 3:

Mince - 175g x 3 = 525g

Bay Leaf - 1 x 3 = 3

Tomatoes - 50g x 3 = 150g

Onion - ½ x 3 = 1 ½

Chilli Powder - ½ tsp x 3 = 1 ½ tsp

Red Kidney Beans - 120g x 3 = 360g

  1. 6 people - 2p x 3 = 6p

🥊Boxing with Pax Day 4🥊

🥊Boxing with Pax Day 4🥊
Annyeonghaseyo, welcome to my blog! Today room 9 had our 4th session of boxing. For the first half of our lesson Pax taught us how to step to the left and to the right while in our wall position. It was kind of hard but I kind of got the hang of it. She then taught 4 different combos that include all the skills we learnt. The 1st combo was Jab, cross, hook and uppercut. Me and my two buddies had a lot of fun, we made a few mistakes but those just made us laugh even more. The 2nd combo she taught was jab, jab, cross, hook and uppercut. The 3rd and 4th combo were also really fun. After all me and buddies had a really good time, Annyeong!

Annyeonghaseyo, welcome to my blog! Today room 9 had our third session of boxing, for the first few minutes we had a little recap on the skills we learnt in term 3. Then she taught us 2 new skills which were "Hook" and "Uppercut", they were easier to learn than I thought. After all I really enjoyed this session, Annyeong!😇
Here are some pictures of our session:

My Career Pathway

My Career Pathway
Annyeonghaseyo, welcome to my blog! This is a presentation I have created about my career pathway. I’ve chosen my career to be a singer because I’ve always dreamt about going on stage singing songs that I wrote while fans are waving their arms around enjoying my music. Every time I think about it, it just makes me want to accomplish that dream. I hope you enjoy, Annyeong!

🥊Boxing with Pax Day 2🥊

🥊Boxing with Pax Day 2🥊
Annyeonghaseyo, welcome to my blog! Today room 9 had our second session of boxing. It was really fun. Once we all were there we had to buddy up with someone so my partner was a boy, his name is George. Before we got into learning our new boxing skills we had a little recap of the skills we learnt last week. After about 2 minutes we then learnt the next 3 skills which Pax prepared for us. The skills she taught were step forward, step back & the bridge.

Instructions to each skill:
Step forward: Step forward with your leg that lines up with your weak hand, then straight after step forward with your leg that lines up with your stronger hand.
An example for this is if your left hand is the weaker hand step forward with that leg, if your right hand is the stronger hand step forward with your right leg after.

Step back: Step back with the leg that lines up with your stronger hand, then straight after step back with the leg that lines up with your weaker hand.
An example for this is if your right hand is your stronger hand the step back with your right leg, if your left hand is your weaker hand step back with your left leg after.

The bridge 1: The bridge includes the step forward and step back, step forward first whilst jabbing with your left hand and then step forward again doing a jab cross then step back.

The bridge 2: For this bridge you need to step forward whilst doing jab cross, then step forward again doing jab cross and then step back.

I hope you can learn some boxing skills from this blog post, but please when you do be careful so that you don't hurt yourself or other people.

Hope you enjoy, Annyeong!
