This is a globe. It is a model of what the Earth looks like. On this model, you can’t see the tectonic plates, but they are there, underneath all the land and ocean.
| |
This is a globe.It is our home, it is a model of the planet earth and it shows us what we see, we see oceans it shows us that the earth spins but the only thing it doesn’t show us is the inside of the earth but through science we have discovered that the earth is not hollow.

- Always be ready to save yourself in a earthquake
- To run outside the house or school run to a safe place
- Hold onto it until the shaking stops
- Take cover under something strong, like a sturdy desk or a table
- Drop to the ground {Avoid Falling}

Celebrating Me
This term we have been inquiring into 'Celebrating Me'. We have been looking at lots of different celebrations, like Guy Fawkes, Halloween, Weddings and Birthdays, White Sunday, Diwali and more. We also have looked at celebrating our own selves. This means we thought about things about ourselves that are worth celebrating... like our family, our hobbies, our learning achievements, our culture. Here is my DLO to show what I have done throughout the term.

My Opinion
My Opinions About Roller Coasters
After reading the articles that told about the incidents that have hae][ned at theme parks, I would never ride on a roller coaster because I do not want to die or get injured seriously. When you are injured seriously you could still die. But sometimes I could change my mind if they have a sign that says it has been checked recently and regularly. I have to make sure that it is safe for me and other families to go on. I also feel sad about the people who died at Dreamworld and the 92,000 children who have been injured in the past 20 years. It is important to read lots about theme parks to get correct information. I think it is safe to go on slower rides but can be very dangerous to go on roller coasters.
